The CUSP Institute holds these events every Wednesday, 11.30am – 12pm, which are open to the community.
They are a key strategy for increasing CUSP’s community linkages and research projects.

Margaret River, Western Australia
Transition Margaret River
CUSP has been running regular sustainability seminars at the Margaret River Education campus for the last three years in partnership with Transition Margaret River and the Augusta Margaret River Shire.
A range of topics has been canvased including: renewable energy, sustainable houses, environmental art, climate change, sustainable tourism, walkability, sustainable food, bushfire and biodiversity conservation, economics for sustainability. Over 150 people turned out for Dr Josh Byrne’s seminar on sustainable gardening.
Speakers at the seminars are paired and typically there is one speaker from Curtin University and one specialist local to Margaret River region.
